Hi readers- I typically focus my blog posts on articles that I write and tips that I want to share. However, today I am beginning a series of informal posts that will help you get to know me and follow along on my Disney adventures! I hope you enjoy post 1!
Tomorrow I will be flying out for a 6 day/7 night Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We’ll be staying in a Finding Nemo Suite at Disney’s Art of Animation resort. We chose AoA because my youngest is 11 and it is her dream place to stay. (And let’s face it, it looks amazing, and the suites have 2 bathrooms!)
This trip is going to be a more relaxed trip for us as we have been fortunate enough to visit multiple times these last few years. Crowds are expected to be average, which means at times they will seem heavy to us as we usually travel during off peak times. Also, I am trying some new to me dining places, including Tusker House in Animal Kingdom, Via Napoli in Italy/Epcot, Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club and Olivia’s Cafe at Old Key West. We were also lucky enough to score a lunch reservation at Be Our Guest, even though we did not book this trip until 90 days out. (My advice is to try to book at least 180 days in advance so that you can score the best Advance Dining Reservations. But then one day you may wake up and decide you just can’t wait 180 days, you need to go to Disney ASAP! If that happens to you like it does me, no worries, you won’t starve- I promise! But you may need to get creative and try some new dining options, which is never a bad thing at Disney!)
I will be posting pics along the way during our trip, please follow me on Instagram to see the latest and greatest! www.https://instagram.com/lisaonthecape Some other new things I will be checking out is the Landscape of Flavors food court at AoA which is rumored to the be the best food court on property. I’m also excited about visiting the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival and the new Festival of the Fantasy parade at Magic Kingdom park! I can’t wait to write reviews on the blog, so stay tuned!
As many of you know, I live on Cape Cod in New England (www.lisaonthecape.wordpress.com.) The temperatures here have been hovering in the 50’s and I am very excited to see 80 degrees! So the bags are packed (mostly) and we are anxiously awaiting our flight tomorrow! I will be sure to have a Dole Whip for you and as always, I am happy to help you plan your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Email your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org. (I am not a travel agent, just a mom who likes to re-live the Disney Magic by helping others and stretching out the fun in between my own trips!)
